Eleglide T1 & T1 Step-Thru

Last month, Eleglide launched 2 new e-trekking bikes, T1 and T1 Step-Thru.

Designed with comfort, functionality and stability in mind, the new models are created to bring comfort, ease and pleasure to those who use them on their journeys.

T1

Powered by a 250W brushless motor with 50Nm torque, Eleglide T1 can accelerate to 25km/h. Thanks to its 450Wh battery pack, it can reach a maximum distance of 100km in assist mode, which is ideal for long-distance bike tours.

For good stability, T1 is designed with a 17.5-inch frame made from strong and stiff aluminum alloy for a solid ride.

Given that you’re likely to travel anywhere, we equip T1 with 27-inch wheels and premium CST pneumatic tires that accommodate multiple types of roads and roll smoothly even in bumpy terrain.

To make your ride effortless, T1 features a 7-speed Shimano derailleur at the rear. When you shift to a higher gear, it’ll roll faster with less effort. The variable speed enables you to have a shifting ride and provides you with more fun in cycling.

For easy control of the e-bike, it comes with an LCD dashboard that displays various information such as speed and battery level and allows users to activate a variety of functions, including shifting speed levels, etc.

For a higher level of security, the braking system of T1 consists of dual brake discs and is improved with an automatic power-off function. Holding the brake lever can not only trigger the brake discs but also automatically cut off the power so that the bike can stop faster. Besides, T1 lights up your way forward with 2 bright lights, including a front light and a rear light. The rear light can also work as a brake light, escorting you day and night.

Furthermore, for comfortable and enjoyable bike touring, it comprises a cosy saddle, a sturdy luggage rack with a maximum load of 25kg, and a hydraulic suspension with lockout that can be locked on flat roads for a fast ride and unlocked on rough paths for a steady ride.

T1 Step-Thru

Eleglide T1 Step-Thru is elegant in appearance and impressive in comfort.

Similar to the T1 model, it also contains a 250W motor, a 450Wh battery, an LCD dashboard, a hydraulic suspension with lockout, a luggage rack, and a 7-speed Shimano derailleur.

What mainly distinguishes T1 Step-Thru from T1 is the 17-inch step-through frame which is reinforced with a strong beam to ensure good stability.

The highlight of its comfortable design lies in the adjustable stem that allows you to alter the stem angle for a suitable riding position. For those who like to sit up straight on the bike, they can adjust the handlebar to a higher position to shorten the horizontal distance between the saddle and the handlebar.

In addition, T1 Step-Thru has an ergonomically designed saddle made by Selle Royal, letting you sit comfortably over long distances.

If you’re looking for a moped bike for touring, take a glance at T1 and T1 Step-Thru. They’ll be available soon in August.

With all that is going on with your Father’s day promotion I thought I would share my experience to date.
Having looked at the T1 Step thru Regent in grey for a long time I decided to treat myself to one for my 80th birthday as I have been having treatment for heart failure since last November and thought a ebike would help me with the rehabilitation process.
I ordered the bike mid April from Electro Ebikes, a main dealer in Herne Bay, Kent, UK.
Knowing of my health issues the owner of the company said he would set up the bike for me and deliver it personally to my home address.
A few weeks passed by and he was finally able to take the bike out for delivery whilst doing business up North.
He unfortunately ran out of time due to traffic so the ebike never arrived.
So here I am about 8 weeks later with no bike, over £800 worse off and finding it very difficult to contact the company for a update as to when he can bring the bike to me. There is no response to any of my messages. The company is still selling on eBay and looks very professional.
So I am very disappointed by all that has gone on as I was really looking forward to getting out and about.
I do hope this is all general misfortune and not a scam. I would be devastated as I did a lot of research beforehand.
    Happy ebiking everyone.
